Job Description
We are in search of a self-motivated Project Manager who will fit with our collaborative culture. The position directs, plans and implements all aspects of the company's assigned real estate related project developments. This involves working with a dynamic team of contractors, engineers, architects, and like-minded project/program managers.
He or She is responsible for controlling projects to ensure direction, coordination and implementation deliverables that fall within the applicable scope and budget.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Meet with team to take detailed briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
- Delegate and create project tasks based on individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
- Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
- Develop comprehensive project plans and timetable to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
- Coordinate company’s tasks with various company’s departments (R&D, Fabrication, GC) and follow up on them.
- Perform internal tasks while maintaining a clear line of communication with clients, Superintendents, Architects, and other Project Managers
Qualifications
- 6 years’ experience in project management (multi-disciplines)
- Preferable with bachelor’s degree in civil engineering/ field or equivalent work experience\
- Technical Construction Knowledge Preferred – Understanding of commercial on-site building methods and time tables, cost analysis and building technologies.
- Familiarity with SmartSheet software’s collaboration and time management tools
- Leadership – Passionate, accountable, organized, proactive and results-oriented
- Effective communicator at all levels of the organization internally and externally
- Problem solver – takes ownership of solutions and pro-active in pin-pointing problems and solving them a-to-z.
- Organizational skill – Track record overseeing teams of individuals, schedule, coordination and financials
- Financial Accountability – Grasp of project profit and loss tools
- Safety excellence – fosters a great safety culture
- Ideally with a Project Management Professional Certification
