Job Description
Vert is looking for a hand-on Production Planning Manager to be a part of out team. This position is responsible for growing our rapidly-expanding engineering team and managing all aspects of production. We are looking for an individual who will thrive in our fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Plan and schedule assigned product lines based on production capacity and material availability
- Schedule and issue assembly work orders to support manufacturing requirements
- Conduct a final review of material availability prior to placing work orders into production
- Revise production schedule as necessary based on the availability of material and/or labor
- Ensure planning parameters and production capacity support project schedule within lead times
- Monitor and process Engineering Change Order that impact scheduled work orders
- Create and Maintain Item Master Data based project BOM data.
- Communicate and own product lines production schedule, changes, capacity issues, and
supply/inventory issues with manufacturing and related departments\ - Expand and build MRP/ERP planning systems
Qualifications
- B.A./B.S. (MBA preferred) with 12 years of financial analysis and reporting experience, ideally with background in supply chain management
- Experienced with planning in ETO/CTO/MTO manufacturing environments
- An expert in MRP/ERP systems\
- Demonstrated strong capability to drive change via collaboration across organizational
levels, global geography - Demonstrated strong understanding of Supply Planning, Capacity Planning, MRP, Product Lifecycle Management, Master Scheduling, and Inventory Management.
- Strong in Math Analytical Reporting skills
- An Excel wizard (reports, analysis)
- Well organized, good communication skills, pays attention to details & is methodical
- Able to work in a dynamic, changing and growing environment.
