Dragonfly Cares is seeking compassionate and reliable part-time Behavior Technicians(BT) and Registered Behavior Technicians(RBT) to provide after school center services to children on the autism spectrum. Technicians will support children in developing communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills while creating a positive and engaging learning environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are patient, energetic, and passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and their families. This position offers a pay range of $23-$26/hour based on education, certifications, and experience in the field.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy, in either of our centers, to children following individualized treatment plans created by a supervising BCBA
- Collect and record behavioral data to track progress and guide treatment decisions
- Build strong, positive relationships with clients and families
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation that meets clinical and insurance standards
- Participate in supervision and ongoing trainings to strengthen your clinical skills

- Bachelor’s degree is psychology, special education, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or other developmental delays
- Excellent communication skills, patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others
- Reliable transportation to Melville and St. James
