POSITION OVERVIEW
Dragonfly Cares is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a part-time role in a welcoming and supportive environment- Dragonfly's St. James and Melville Centers, with availability to see students on weekdays during afternoon and early evening hours (3-7pm). This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated support team and provide essential speech and language services to children.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Provide direct speech therapy services to children, focusing on improving communication skills.
- Collaborate with staff and parents regularly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
- A willingness and passion for continued growth and learning.

- Valid New York Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Pediatric/school-aged evaluation and treatment experience strongly preferred
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Ability to work independently in various settings and as part of a collaborative team
- Valid Licensure and reliable transportation
