Front of House Employee

Job DescriptionDragon House is looking for a reliable, friendly, and organized Front of House / Cashier team member to help manage customer orders, payments, phone calls, and pickup service.

This role is one of the main points of contact for our customers. We’re looking for someone who communicates clearly, stays calm during busy periods, and can handle multiple tasks accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly customer service
• Answer phone calls and take takeout orders accurately
• Enter orders into the POS system
• Process cash and credit card payments
• Handle customer pickup orders
• Communicate order status with customers
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and the packing station
• Help organize incoming and completed orders
• Answer basic questions about the menu
• Maintain an organized and clean front counter area
• Restock menus, receipts, utensils, bags, and other front-of-house supplies
• Assist with light front-of-house duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous cashier, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred, but not required
• Friendly and professional communication skills
• Comfortable speaking with customers in person and over the phone
• Comfortable handling cash and credit card transactions
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work well with kitchen and front-of-house staff
• Evening and weekend availability preferred

What We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for someone who can stay organized when multiple phone calls, customers, and orders are coming in at the same time. Accuracy, reliability, and good customer service are especially important.

Compensation

• $16.00–$18.00 per hour
• Starting pay depends on experience and ability
