Job DescriptionDragon House is looking for a reliable and organized Takeout Packer to help prepare and verify pickup and delivery orders.
This position is responsible for making sure every order is complete, accurate, properly packed, and ready on time before it leaves the restaurant. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well under pressure, and can stay organized during busy periods.
Responsibilities
- Pack takeout, pickup, and delivery orders
- Match food items to customer tickets and verify order accuracy
- Make sure all entrees, rice, soups, appetizers, sauces, utensils, and requested extras are included
- Seal and organize bags for pickup and delivery
- Label orders when necessary
- Keep completed orders organized by customer or delivery driver
- Communicate with the kitchen and front counter if an item is missing or incorrect
- Help hand orders to customers and delivery drivers
- Restock bags, containers, sauces, utensils, and other packing supplies
- Keep the packing station clean and organized
- Assist with light front-of-house duties when needed
Qualifications
- No experience required; restaurant experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Able to communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Evening and weekend availability preferred
What We’re Looking ForWe need someone who can stay calm and organized when multiple orders are coming out at the same time. Accuracy is extremely important because the packer is the final person checking the order before it reaches the customer.
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
