Landscape Construction Lead (Hands-On, Field Role)
$30–$40/hour (DOE) | Full-Time | San Diego County
Drab to Fab is hiring a Landscape Construction Lead to run jobs in the field and lead a crew on high-quality landscape installations.
This is a hands-on role—you’ll be on-site daily, working alongside your crew while leading production and ensuring projects are built right.
What You’ll Do

Lead and work alongside a landscape construction crew

Execute builds hands-on (grading, irrigation, planting, drainage)

Set daily priorities and keep the crew on track

Ensure quality, efficiency, and jobsite organization

Troubleshoot issues in the field as they come up

Coordinate with Project Manager on progress and needs

Requirements
-
5 years of landscape construction experience
-
Experience leading or running a crew

Strong knowledge of:

Irrigation (drip, spray, timers, wiring)

Drainage and grading

Planting and soil prep

Ability to operate skid steer and mini excavator

Valid driver’s license with clean record

Physically able to perform outdoor construction work

Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Strong leadership and communication skills
