MSE Landscape Professionals is seeking an experienced and driven Construction Production Operations Manager to oversee and manage daily landscape construction operations. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising field production to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, operational experience, and a deep understanding of landscape construction, crew management, scheduling, and production efficiency.
Duties:
- Oversee daily landscape construction operations and field production
- Manage foremen, and field crews to ensure productivity and quality
- Plan and coordinate labor, equipment, and materials for projects
- Monitor project schedules, timelines, and budgets
- Ensure all work is completed according to plans, specifications, and company standards
- Conduct site visits and inspections to maintain quality control
- Work closely with Account Managers, on project progress
- Track labor hours, production costs, and job profitability
- Identify and resolve operational issues in the field
- Enforce company safety policies and conduct PPE inspections
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Train, mentor, and develop field leadership staff
- Manage equipment usage and maintenance needs
- Review and approve timecards, payroll hours, and field reports
- Improve efficiency, workflow, and operational performance
- Assist in planning and implementing company growth strategies
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in landscape construction operations or project management
- Strong knowledge of landscape installation, irrigation, hardscape, and grading
- Proven experience managing multiple crews and projects simultaneously
- Ability to read blueprints, plans, and construction specifications
- Strong understanding of budgeting, labor forecasting, and production scheduling
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience in cost control and job profitability management
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
