Hiring for the afternoon closing shift (M-F, shift starting at 12pm-1pm and ends typically at five or later, depending on practitioners need that day).
Dr. Poppy’s office is a unique, independent functional medical clinic located in Ozark Missouri. Although we are a very busy clinic, our focus is on patient centered care specializing in Functional Fertility & Obstetrics, Wholistic Prenatal Care, Integrative Thyroid management, Bio identical Hormone Therapy, Functional family practice care and more.
We serve adults and children and see patients from all walks of life.
$15.00 per Hour
Duties
- Greeting patients and visitors
- Collecting and verifying patients’ demographics, pharmacy, insurance information, etc
- Registering patients
- Obtaining necessary signatures
- Collecting and documenting patient payments
- Scheduling appointments
- Answering phone calls
- Providing exceptional Customer service
- Completing clinician orders
- EHR system use
- Ensures customer satisfaction by courteously responding to billing inquiries, researches account and properly records all account tracking; assists in maintaining orderly office activities by performing clerical duties including filing, typing, record storage, and similar responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Clerical skills
- Proven office experience with strong clerical skills in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge and use of EHR system and other computer programs and websites. Accuracy and detail to attention are extremely important in this role.
- Excellent computer literacy including proficiency in EHR, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and numerous other medical programs
- Experience with multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette to handle high call volumes effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in proofreading, data entry, and filing tasks
- Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting
- Prior experience as a medical or dental receptionist or personal assistant is a plus but not required
- Ability to deal effectively and courteously with clients, families, coworkers, field staff, physicians, and community resources, and exhibit an empathetic attitude toward patients. Demonstrates computer and generic office machine skills.
- Ability to function independently and in group setting, organize and prioritize responsibilities efficiently, effectively monitor, demonstrate good judgment and communicate well both verbally and in writing.
*Monday through Friday starting at 12pm-1pm depending on need to close, typically 5pm or later. This is a part time position.
