Role description:
Arcadis DPS is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join our Procurement and Supply Chain team in Chandler, Arizona. In this role, you will work directly with the Global Supply Chain Management team with the primary objective of supporting the field through effective materials management for complex high-tech construction projects for a major microelectronics manufacturing client. Successful candidates will have a background in Procurement & Supply Chain for industrial construction, preferably supporting advanced technology clientele, possess above average proficiency in MS Excel/MS Office Suite, and have strong communication and organizational skills. Primary responsibilities include client communication, processing of orders and submittals, working with trades, managing suppliers, and tracking/expediting material deliveries.
This position is for local candidates, or those willing to relocate to the area, and not a travel position, therefore not offering per diem allowance.
Role accountabilities:
- Maintain and schedule accurate calendars, meetings, tracking sheets and other tools as directed.
- Day to day order management, gathering and tracking information regarding schedules, delays, etc.
- Contact suppliers, verify compliance with lead times, check for ETA changes on a frequent basis for “reasonableness” and notify client of potential problems.
- Update delivery information and follow up with suppliers on late shipments and/or deliveries.
- Work with suppliers and GSCM team members to ensure operational risks are escalated, evaluated, and mitigated.
- Maintain databases and supporting files as directed.
- Create procurement records in systems and databases.
- Prepare and provide documentation to internal teams and key stakeholders.
- Assist Global Supply Chain Management team on project related tasks.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a heightened attention to detail.
- Computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel based templates, Primavera, and Autodesk Suite. Strong MS Excel skills are a must!
- Experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain within the Engineering and Construction industry preferred and highly desired.
- 1-3 years desired work experience. Past internships directly related to the role will be taken into consideration.
- Diploma or Degree level qualification in Supply Chain, Engineering, Construction Management, or Business preferred, but not required.
- Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required.
