Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an AutoCAD Drafter located in Edison, NJ. The AutoCAD Drafter will perform technical drafting, create shop drawings, and work on architectural and technical drawings. The role involves preparing detailed designs and ensuring that all drawing tasks meet client specifications and project deadlines. Collaboration with project teams and adhering to design standards and regulations are integral parts of the role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Technical Drawing and creating Shop Drawings
- Experience with Architectural Drawings and general Drawing skills
- Knowledge of Architecture and the ability to interpret architectural designs
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in producing drawings
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and related drafting software
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment
- Associate degree or certification in CAD drafting or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with land surveying or civil engineering projects is a plus
