Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an AutoCAD Drafter located in Edison, NJ. The AutoCAD Drafter will be responsible for preparing technical drawings, shop drawings, and architectural drawings based on project specifications. The role involves collaborating with engineers and architects, reviewing project requirements, and ensuring accuracy in all produced drawings. The drafter will also support project teams in meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Technical Drawing and creating Shop Drawings
- Proficiency in Architectural Drawings and knowledge of architecture
- Experience with general Drawing techniques and related software such as AutoCAD
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills
- Familiarity with land surveying or construction-related projects is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification in Drafting, Architecture, or a related field
