What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Planner position at DP Professionals (DPP)?
• Plan sequences of fabrication, assembly, installation, and manufacturing operations for specific product components to support efficient production workflows
• Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, change notices, and engineering releases to develop detailed manufacturing processes and operational plans
• Determine tooling requirements and provide recommendations for design, planning, and implementation of production tooling and fixtures
• Prepare shop work orders for materials, fabrication, and product processing in accordance with engineering and production specifications
• Coordinate with production schedulers to ensure materials and components are processed according to established timelines, specifications, and quality requirements
• Maintain progress reports, production schedules, and related documentation to support operational tracking and workflow efficiency
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience
- Experience working with aerospace specifications and drawings
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications(Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Must be highly detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and a skilled communicator
