SCOPE AND PURPOSE: Douglas Emmett is seeking a dynamic, customer service oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our commercial property management team. RESPONSIBILITES:Building operational support to the Property ManagerOversee vendor contracts, participate in meetings and inspections for janitorial, landscape, parking and securityTenant relations including managing expectations, move in and annual surveys, email memos and building eventsAbility to assist with tenant improvements projects through attending construction meetings, scheduling vendor building access, reviewing change orders and statements of workAssist with leasing by preparing deal packets, writing letters of intent for renewals, reviewing stacking plans, participating in tours and marketing storage spaceReview MRI reporting including: aged delinquency, purchase orders, occupancy changes, janitorial vacancies, late fees, rent up, security deposits, CAM’s & TLA’sParticipate in annual budgeting processSpecial projects as assigned by Property ManagerQUALIFICATIONS:2 years of commercial property management experience (Class A office preferred)Real Estate License (or ability to obtain a license within 6 months of being hired)Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to exercise independent judgment to formulate and implement solutionsMaintain professional demeanor and excellent customer service when interacting with building management, tenants and vendorsAbility to work well under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks and consistently produce high-quality accurate workProjects a professional image by meeting Douglas Emmett dress code standardsCan perform the essential physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodationCompany DescriptionDouglas Emmett operates approximately 18 million square feet of Class A office space and over 5,000 luxury apartment units in nine highly desirable submarkets in Los Angeles County, six of which are located in Los Angeles' Westside - Brentwood, Century City, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, the Olympic Corridor, and Westwood - and three submarkets in the San Fernando Valley - Sherman Oaks/Encino, Warner Center/Woodland Hills, and Burbank.
