Description
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible in overseeing the maintenance and improvements to Springfield’s existing street infrastructure. The maintenance of our streets involves asphalt repair, concrete construction and repair, chip-seals, and a variety of other work. This position will supervise one specific team in the Public Works Street Operations Division.
We are currently looking to hire a supervisor for our Public Grounds crew.

Qualifications And Requirements
Experience, Education, and Training
- Requires a minimum of four years of experience in equipment operation, arboriculture, and grounds management duties.
- An Associate's Degree related to the landscape industry, such as Turf & Landscape Management, is desirable.
- One year in a crew leader or supervisory capacity.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License.
