- Ability to work with numbers rapidly and accurately and pay attention to detail
- Ability to perform data entry into computer applications quickly and with a high degree of accuracy
- Prepares and submits monthly claims for Children’s Long Term Support case management and other services to the Third Party Administrator and ensures all payments are received.
- Processes and remediates claim denials received from the Third Party Administrator
- Ability to problem solve and find errors by performing internal department audits
- Notify providers of authorizations/denials
- Assist registration process and credentialing for providers
- Responsible for holding a County credit card under own name and following internal controls during utilization
- Purchasing of program needs via various vendors
- Reconciliation of purchasing for program needs
- Assesses parental fee/financial liability for the program according to State guidelines.
- Entry of client certifications to state wide system
- Produce contracts for required services
- Generates, tracks and collects receivables
- Prepares and enters payables
- Maintains and updates accounting records
- Prepares spreadsheet analysis
- Generates reports to verify account balances
- Researches and resolves account discrepancies
- CCOP program financial management
- CCOP data collection entry into state system
- Payroll entry and processing for CLTS program
- Performs other duties of a similar nature or as required
