Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide a positive first impression.
- Check guests in and out accurately and efficiently.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about hotel services and local area offerings.
- Handle reservations, room assignments, and schedule changes as needed.
- Process payments, maintain accurate records, and balance front desk transactions.
- Assist guests with requests, concerns, and issue resolution in a professional manner.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to support guest needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable front desk area.
- Follow hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service, hospitality, or front desk experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm, courteous, and solution-focused in a busy environment.
- Basic computer skills and comfort using reservation or property management systems.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
