Duties
- Supervise front desk operations, including guest check-in/check-out, reservations, and billing procedures using OPERA or similar hotel management systems
- Lead and motivate the front desk team to deliver top-tier guest service with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction
- Conduct night audits to reconcile daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hotel policies
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to respond swiftly during incidents
- Oversee multi-line phone systems, ensuring courteous phone etiquette and efficient communication with guests and staff
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address guest needs and operational issues promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management, particularly in front desk or hotel operations roles
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities to serve diverse guests effectively
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Familiarity with hotel management software such as OPERA or comparable systems
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and guest safety protocols
- Resort experience or extensive hotel experience preferred to handle high-volume guest interactions effectively
