Job Description
Job Title: Project Coordinator
Department: Operations
Reports to: Division Manager
FLSA: Non-Exempt
PURPOSE: The primary duties will be to assist the Division Manager, Superintendents, Project Managers, and Estimators with daily operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with timesheets in Power Track
- Set up Job Numbers
- Request Quotes from Vendors
- Pull Permits
- Follow up on Project Status
- Compile JHA sheets
- Create bid packages for the Estimators
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Enrollment in a certified 4 Year/Bachelor’s Degree Civil, Mechanical or Construction Engineering curriculum at an accredited university/college.
- This person should have the usual admin experience – filing, faxing and email
- Excel/Word/PowerPoint.
LICENSE: Possess or ability to obtain a valid class C California driver's license.
SKILLS, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Basic knowledge of construction engineering technology, detailed plans and specifications, estimating, construction codes, and construction methods.
- High organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
Strong interpersonal skills including a demonstrated ability to work within a cooperative environment of multiple individuals and entities to accomplish a specified goal.
Working conditions consist of temperature-controlled buildings or offices, outside elements such as rain, cold, and heat when working within open environments, driving from various locations or attending meetings, etc. Noise levels are moderate to loud depending on work location.
