Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic, reliable, and service-minded Golf Course Concession Attendant to manage operations at our golf course concession facility, also known as "The Shack." Serving as the primary food and beverage destination for golfers during their rounds, this position delivers efficient, high-touch service, prepares quick-service menu items, and handles day-to-day station operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Member & Guest Hospitality: Provide prompt, welcoming, and professional food and beverage service to golfers stopping at The Shack.
- Point of Sale: Ring up transactions and accurately charge member accounts using the POS system.
- Food & Beverage Service: Prepare and serve quick-service food items, hot and cold beverages, packaged snacks, and alcoholic beverages following standard recipes and health safety protocols.
- Inventory & Stocking: Monitor stock levels throughout the shift, restock display cases, coolers, and grab-and-go stations, and perform daily inventory audits to minimize waste.
- Station Upkeep: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization throughout the concession area, patio/seating space, and prep station.
- Alcohol Compliance: Rigorously enforce responsible alcohol service policies, verify guest identification, and maintain total compliance with state and local liquor regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age or older (required for handling and serving alcoholic beverages).
- Experience: Prior experience in food service, hospitality, bartending, or retail operations is preferred.
- Communication & Demeanor: Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills and a focus on detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Independence: Self-motivated and able to manage station pacing, prep work, and service flow independently during peak course hours.
- Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the Club’s event calendar. Sunday availability is required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, move efficiently around the service area, and lift up to 35 lbs.
- Certifications: State mandated alcohol training must be completed upon hire.
