We are seeking a dependable and self-motivated Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance, repair, cleanliness, and general upkeep of our Corporate Headquarters and additional company facilities throughout the Jane Lew, West Virginia area. This position is responsible for ensuring that all buildings, grounds, and exterior areas remain safe, clean, functional, and well-maintained.
The ideal candidate will possess general maintenance skills, be capable of working independently, and take pride in maintaining company facilities to a high standard. This role requires both hands-on maintenance work and coordination of repairs with outside vendors when necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, fixtures, and grounds.
- Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical issues.
- Coordinate and complete maintenance projects across multiple company locations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of facilities, including common areas, offices, parking lots, and grounds.
- Replace light bulbs, fixtures, and other building components as needed.
- Remove trash and ensure facilities remain organized and presentable.
- Mow grass, trim landscaping, and maintain outdoor areas.
- Remove snow and ice from walkways, parking areas, and entrances; apply salt and ice melt during inclement weather.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
- Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance services.
- Maintain maintenance records, supplies, and equipment.
- Assist with facility improvements, renovations, and special projects.
- Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies as needed.
