Key Responsibilities
Transactional Accounting & Job Costing
- Process and enter daily financial transactions into the accounting system, including payroll
- Ensure all transactions are properly coded to the correct general ledger accounts, jobs, and cost
- Assist with tracking daily project costs by reviewing and recording labor, equipment usage, and
- Support routine job cost updates to ensure project costs remain current and accurately
Reconciliation & Reporting
- Perform regular (daily/weekly) cash and bank activity reviews to ensure transactions are
- Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations, ensuring all items are properly recorded
- Investigate and resolve any variances or unreconciled items in a timely manner
- Assist in the preparation of internal financial reports, providing clear and accurate information
Period-End Close & Financial Support
- Support month-end and year-end close activities by ensuring all routine transactions are
- Assist in preparing and posting month-end and year-end close journal entries, including accruals
- Assist in maintaining Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules by updating cost data and supporting
- Compile supporting schedules and backup documentation to substantiate account balances
- Ensure all records are complete, organized, and ready for review or audit
- Onsite Requirement – this position is strictly onsite and must be performed in person at 190
for this role.
- Work Schedule – this position follows a standard work schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00

Required Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in accounting or finance preferred)
- 1–2 years of experience in general accounting and routine transactional processing
- Experience handling multiple entities or company divisions is highly desirable
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid organizational and time-management skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise integrity when handling
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the construction industry, including familiarity with job costing and percentage of
- Experience with construction accounting software (e.g., Viewpoint Vista, HCSS, etc.)
- Experience in a fast-paced or high-volume processing environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication (written and verbal)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential company
- Team-oriented with a proactive attitude
Salary : $44,000 - $54,000
