What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Door County Sandbox?
Door County Sandbox is a bar, restaurant and entertainment center offering great food and drinks along with golf simulators, axe throwing, cornhole, pool, darts and more. We’re looking for dependable, energetic and personable servers who enjoy working with people and being part of a team.
What You’ll Do
- Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service
- Take and serve food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Process checks and payments using our POS system
- Help keep the restaurant and guest areas clean, organized and stocked
- Help guests get set up for golf simulators, axe throwing and other activities
- Work with bartenders, kitchen staff and other team members to keep service running smoothly
- See what needs to be done and step in to help wherever needed
- Help create a safe, welcoming and enjoyable experience for every guest
What We’re Looking For
- Previous serving or relevant customer service experience preferred
- Friendly, outgoing and comfortable interacting with guests
- Dependable, punctual and able to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Honest, trustworthy and responsible with cash, payments and company property
- A team player who takes pride in their work and helps keep the entire operation running well
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Experience with Toast or a similar POS system is a plus

- Evening and weekend availability may be required
