As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining the standards of our fine dining establishment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale systems.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining proper presentation standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
Skills
- Proficient in food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Experience in fine dining settings is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to effectively interact with guests and team members.
