About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead all aspects of our warehouse, inventory management, shipping, receiving, and logistics operations. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring fulfillment and inventory accuracy, maintaining secure storage of company assets, overseeing vendor relationships, and delivering operational excellence across multiple client programs.

The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 10 years of warehouse, inventory management, operations, or supply chain logistics experience, along with a proven ability to streamline processes, manage inventory with precision, and lead a high-performing warehouse operation. Strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including shipping and receiving, inventory management, shipping logistics and quotes, order fulfillment, returns, and overall warehouse organization.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve inventory control processes to maintain exceptional inventory accuracy and accountability.
  • Manage purchasing and inbound logistics by working directly with vendors and suppliers to procure products, coordinate deliveries, negotiate pricing when appropriate, and resolve issues.
  • Oversee relationships with freight carriers, including UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, LTL carriers, and other shipping partners to ensure cost-effective and timely transportation.
  • Ensure all inventory, promotional materials, prizes, and company assets are securely stored, tracked, and protected throughout the warehouse.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of domestic and international shipping procedures, shipping documentation, freight regulations, and carrier requirements.
  • Utilize internal warehouse management systems, inventory software, and shipping platforms to manage warehouse operations efficiently.
  • Prepare accurate fulfillment, shipping, freight, and storage cost estimates for client programs by evaluating labor, packaging, carrier rates, inventory requirements, and transportation needs.
  • Partner closely with Account Services teams during program planning to develop operational budgets, recommend fulfillment strategies, and identify the most efficient and cost-effective shipping solutions for client programs.
  • Obtain and evaluate shipping and fulfillment quotes from carriers and vendors, ensuring estimates are accurate, competitive, and aligned with program timelines and client expectations.
  • Review program requirements to identify potential logistical challenges, recommend operational improvements, and develop scalable fulfillment plans.
  • Monitor actual fulfillment and shipping costs against estimates, identify variances, and recommend process improvements to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze inventory, shipping, and operational data using advanced Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools to identify trends, improve efficiencies, and support business decisions. Candidates should possess strong data manipulation skills, including working with large datasets, and reporting.
  • Monitor client inventory and investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Develop warehouse procedures and operational workflows that improve productivity, accuracy, and overall efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, warehouse safety standards, and shipping regulations.
  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff while fostering a collaborative and accountable culture.
  • Partner with Client Services, Procurement, Finance, IT, and other internal departments to ensure seamless execution of client programs.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects and competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and meeting critical deadlines.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the building, working with the landlord and outside contractors when required.

What We're Looking For

  • 10 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, supply chain, or a related operational environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing warehouse operations and personnel.
  • Extensive knowledge of inventory control, warehouse best practices, shipping procedures, freight management, vendor coordination, and fulfillment operations.
  • Experience preparing fulfillment, shipping, freight, and operational cost estimates for client projects or business operations.
  • Strong technical proficiency with warehouse management systems, inventory software, shipping platforms, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including advanced data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with vendors, freight carriers, account teams, and internal staff.
  • A proactive, hands-on leader who enjoys improving processes, solving operational challenges, and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Experience in promotional marketing, fulfillment, consumer products, or high-volume distribution environments is highly desirable.
