Immediate Supervisor: F&B Director
Job Summary:
Ensure that each guest receive the most pleasant and enjoyable dining experience through exceptional service.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Greeting the Guest with a smile and friendly hello
- Recommend 2 drinks, 2 appetizers, dinner specials and 2 desserts.
- Properly record all transactions
- Maintain a clean and proper uniform with name badge daily.
- Record order properly, reciting selection and input orders into Aloha for accountability.
- Replenish beverages.
- Proper table maintenance, sugar caddies, ketchups, table tents all current cleaned and stocked
- Adhere to all state, federal, and corporate food and beverage handling regulations pertaining to serving food and alcoholic beverages
- Wait staff must not smoke or chew gum at their stations
- Shall not consume alcoholic beverage while on hotel premises, whether on duty or not. They may use hotel facilities with special permission from management only.
- Will not serve intoxicated guest. Notify the Manager on Duty immediately
- Will not serve persons who are under the legal drinking age. IF doubtful of age, proof of I.D. will be politely asked for. IF still doubtful notify the Manger on Duty
- Report unusual occurrences to Director or Manager on Duty
- Advise Management of any unsatisfactory food or beverage items so they can be replaced properly
- Establish proper service procedures and follow them at all times
- Cleanliness, Restocking, Running food, Bussing Tables of restaurant is all part of responsibilities
- Follow Dolphin Hotels and Bilmar Polices at all times
Necessary Sills and Attributes:
Excellent verbal, comprehension, listening, and problem solving skills
Interpersonal and time management skills
Guest relation skills
Formal Education:
High School Graduate or equivalent
Multilingual preferred
Experience:
3 to 5 years Serving experience desired
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, bend, walk, use hands and fingers, or feel objects, tools, or controls, lift boxes (up to 50 lbs), talk and listen. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision to a computer screen.
