Bus Person

Immediate Supervisor:  Sloppy Joe’s Manager

Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Bus Person is giving exceptional service to all guests and co-workers.  Assist with the workflow of the dining room and kitchen area.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Greeting the guests with a smile and friendly greeting
• Satisfying patron and staff requests in a timely manner
• Remove dirty/used dishes, silverware and glassware in dining areas as needed and deliver them to dishwashing area.
• Maintain proper stock of clean dishware, silverware, dishware and bus tubs in server areas and restock at end of shift
• Remove trash from service areas throughout shift and at end of shift
• Opening side work
• Closing side work
• Assist co-workers with cleaning and resetting tables and additional cleaning as needed
• Separate linens by color and bring to resort laundry area
• Assisting co-workers as needed
• Assist with maintaining storage areas and special projects as assigned by supervisor
• Follow Dolphin Hotels and Bilmar policies at all times

1 year preferred

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, bend, walk, use hands and fingers, or feel objects, tools or controls, lift boxes (up to 50 lbs), talk and listen. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision to a computer screen.
