Bartender – Marriott Stamford Hotel & Spa-Stamford, CT
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Displaying your unique personality and bar skills, you will engage with guests to create a memorable experience!
- You will be responsible for welcoming guests in our lobby Bar explaining the menu and taking beverage orders while upselling other food items in the dinner menu.
- You will serve Beverages according to Stamford Marriott Hotel & Spa standards.
- You will also be responsible to setup the area for dinner service.
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Assess guests needs and preferences and make recommendations.
- Comply with all food & Beverage regulations
SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant bar certificate
- 1-2 years of bartending experience in a upscale high end Restaurant
- Experience in shift opening and closing procedure.
- Knowledge of food and wine pairing.
- Candidate will be well spoken , gracious and ready to follow Marriott Standards and willing to go above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction.
