Job Details
- Ensure the execution and implementation of the overall strategy and vision for staffing, recruiting, internal development, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Responsible for all human resources responsibilities of direct and indirect reports (e.g. hiring, coaching, training, appraising, etc.).
- Anticipate talent needs and create strategies that will utilize staff to build a succession plan to meet forecasted field staffing needs.
- Analyze reports of progress against designated HR metrics and make recommendations on opportunities to increase the retention of key talent.
- Remain current on trends in the industry and HR field
- implementing new ideas to ensure the team is effectively attracting, developing and engaging top talent.
- Responsible for acting as a consultant to influence clients and colleagues, deliver constructive advice, diagnose and resolve problems and positively influence change.
- Manage internal and external resources in the administration of staffing, training, and employee relations systems, policies, practices, and budgets.
- Strong knowledge of all relevant employment laws and regulations, including Wage and Hour, FLSA, Title VII, FMLA, ADA, worker's compensation and other DOL regulations
- Excellent understanding of the retail environment
