Calling all dog-lovers: we are looking for a new member to join our team at dogish! Dogish is a small, family-owned business centered around pet grooming services and luxury pet supplies. We are looking to hire a part-time Front Desk and Customer Service Associate for up to 25 hours per week. Customer services and quick, efficient appointment scheduling are central to this position. The Front Desk and Customer Service Associate will serve as the primary point of contact between our clients and the dogish team, with the goal of providing a supportive environment for the client comfort and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet clients in a manner that is helpful and friendly
- Schedule client appointments
- Answer phone calls
- Check-in clients for appointments
- Manage retail transactions and inventory
- Aid in administrative tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized storefront
Qualifications:
- Enjoy working with animals (primarily dogs, occasionally cats)
- Lift at least 50 pounds
- Basic knowledge of grooming practices and animal care
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of Customer Service or Reception experience
Availability
- Tuesday: 8:30 am - 1:00 pm
- Wednesday: 12:30 pm - 5:00 pm
- Thursday : 12:30 pm - 5:00 pm
- Friday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
