Position Overview:
As a Shift Leader, you’ll play a key role in running day-to-day operations and lead both front-and back-of-house teams. You’ll ensure smooth shifts, great food, and outstanding guest service while upholding Dog Haus standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Motivate and coach the team to provide excellent hospitality
- Oversee shift operations, including opening and closing duties
- Ensure food quality, speed and accuracy
- Manage cash handling, inventory, and daily prep levels
- Train and support team members; uphold food and safety standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve guest issues in real time
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in the restaurant industry, preferably in a supervisory role
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- 1-2 years of restaurant or supervisory experience preferred.
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 40 lbs.
- Knowledgeable of restaurant operations, including safety and sanitation practices.
