Responsibilities

• Process a variety of financial transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, and loan payments, ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including balancing cash drawers and reconciling discrepancies
• Assist customers with inquiries related to accounts, loans, and banking services while delivering outstanding customer service
• Promote bank products such as savings accounts, credit cards, and loans through upselling and relationship management strategies
• Detect and prevent potential fraud by monitoring transactions for suspicious activity and adhering to security protocols
• Maintain thorough knowledge of banking software systems, debit & credit processing, and retail math to ensure efficient operations

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build lasting relationships and manage customer expectations effectively
• Proficiency in financial sales techniques, upselling, and cross-selling banking products
• Knowledge of fraud prevention and detection methods within a banking environment
• Basic math skills including cash management, debits & credits, and retail math for accurate transaction processing
• Excellent communication skills to clearly explain banking services and resolve customer issues promptly
• Ability to handle cash accurately, perform cashiering duties confidently, and maintain confidentiality at all times
