Title: Project Coordinator / Post Sales
Reports to: Operations Manager, Regional
Location: DMG MORI Technical Center
Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm
Classification: Exempt
Salary Range: $85,000-$95,000
Travel: 25%
Employment is conditioned on DMG MORI's ability to obtain and maintain any necessary export licensing.
Essential Job Functions:
This position will provide support to the local DMG MORI Sales & Service Organization to assure a positive customer experience from order placement to the machine installation and acceptance. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily and must be able to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment. Responsibilities include up to and not limited to:
- Constant communications with the Regional Managers, Sales team, Service team, Application team, other internal departments, factories, vendors, logistic companies and customers
- Maintain all backlog utilizing project management software, coordinating tasks with Operations, Sales, Engineering, Product Specialist and Service Teams to ensure customers satisfaction at completion of orders to include LATC Showroom
- Large project coordination utilizing project management software. Communication with Customers, Service, Engineering, Product Specialist, Operations, Factories and Sales. To ensure all necessary tasks are completed on time for successful installations
- Monitor project progress and prepare status reports
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and solve problems proactively
- Ensure compliance with company policies and project requirements
- Maintain and update project files
- Handle all subcontractor work orders, PO’s and purchasing workflows for 3rd party companies
- Process incoming quotes and orders from our suppliers and direct sales customers (DMQP)
- Order processing (quoting, order entry, PO receiving and invoice processing)
- Developing and mailing correspondence, answering telephones, and filing (customer files, sales orders, invoices).
- Ensuring on time customer payments through sales organization (invoicing, follow ups)
- Other project duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
- Previous experience with CRM tools is preferable, but not required
- Previous experience in machine tool industry preferred
- Proficient Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Skills
- Average to expert use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project Manager
- Advanced interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environmen
Work Environment:
General office environment will be experienced. There will be periodic exposure to manufacturing environments which may present possible hazards such as noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and other automated and manual machinery.
Physical Demands:
Frequent: Sitting at desk, utilizing computers and phones. Repetitive hand, wrist, arm, and shoulder movements.
Periodic: Standing, walking, bending, and stooping.
Occasional: Business travel. Lifting, pushing, and pulling objects.
