DMG MORI Manufacturing is seeking a skilled and hands-on FP&A Manager. A successful candidate will have expertise in FP&A, cost accounting. This individual contributor role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of manufacturing cost structures, and the ability to independently execute financial processes. The role will assist with forecasting and performance analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making. This candidate will also play a key role in future ERP implementation projects (SAP S4); contributing to system design, data validation, and post-go-live stabilization.

- Lead annual budgeting and quarterly/monthly forecasting
- Conduct variance analysis and present actionable insight to management
- Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Production, Procurement, Logistics, Sales) to gather business inputs
- Manage actual manufacturing cost analysis, including labor, materials, overhead, and logistics
- Monitor production efficiencies, yield, scrap, and other operational KPIs impacting cost
- Support month-end close activities related to COGS, WIP and inventory accounting
- Leverage ERP functionality to automate manual processes and improve accuracy
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and internal accounting policies
- Support internal/external audit requirements
- Serve as finance lead/key user in ERP implementation project
- Define finance and cost accounting requirements suitable for an actual-cost environment
- Ensure a smooth transition and stabilize finance processes after go-live
- Ability to work effectively with global teams across time zones
Minimum and Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- 5-10 years of experience in FP&A or cost accounting, in a manufacturing environment a plus
- Strong analytical capability with hands-on experience analyzing actual manufacturing costs
- Experience with inventory accounting, COGS analysis, and month-end close
- Ability to work independently in a standalone finance role
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems
- Experience with ERP implementation projects (SAP) preferred
- Knowledge of data migration, UAT, or BI/reporting tools preferred
- CPA, CMA or MBA preferred
- Experience working in multinational corporate environments a plus
Work Environment:
General office environment will be experienced. There will be periodic exposure to a manufacturing environment which may present hazards such as noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and other automated manual machinery.

Salary : $135,000 - $155,000
