Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide security coverage at multiple sites, covering open shifts, call-offs, or special assignments as directed.
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to deter and detect unauthorized activity or safety hazards.
- Control access to facilities by verifying identification and credentials.
- Monitor alarms, surveillance systems, and security equipment.
- Respond quickly and effectively to incidents, alarms, emergencies, and disturbances.
- Enforce site-specific policies, rules, and regulations professionally and fairly.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while interacting with clients, employees, visitors, and the public.
- Complete clear, accurate, and timely reports on incidents and daily activities.
- Liaise with local law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary.
- For armed roles: Maintain safe and responsible handling of assigned firearms, using them only when legally justified and in compliance with all policies, training, and laws.
- Remain flexible and prepared to work different shifts, locations, and site types on short notice.
- Attend and complete all required training, including site-specific orientations and firearms qualifications if applicable.
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.
- Ability to work at different locations and adapt to diverse site requirements.
- Excellent communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong commitment to customer service and professionalism.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
- For armed assignments: Valid state-issued armed security license/permit, proof of firearms training/qualification, and compliance with all legal requirements.
- Must pass background check, drug screening, and any required psychological evaluations.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, or driving for extended periods and responding rapidly to incidents.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Flexible schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and last-minute assignments.
