Overview

The Manufacturing Technician supports daily production activities by operating equipment, performing assembly tasks, maintaining documentation, and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards. This role helps keep manufacturing operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain production equipment according to SOPs.

• Perform assembly, packaging, labeling, and material handling tasks as required.

• Follow batch records, work instructions, and quality procedures with accuracy.

• Conduct in-process checks and document results in compliance with GMP or internal standards.

• Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.

• Report deviations, equipment issues, and safety concerns promptly.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing area.

• Support continuous improvement activities to enhance productivity.

• Work closely with quality, engineering, and maintenance teams to meet production goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical certification; associate degree preferred.

• 1 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial operations.

• Ability to read and follow SOPs, batch records, and technical instructions.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machinery.

• Good documentation and communication skills.

• Ability to lift up to [X] lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in regulated industries such as pharma, biotech, medical devices, or food manufacturing.

• Familiarity with GMP, ISO standards, or Lean manufacturing principles.

• Experience with automated production systems.
