DJ RunDat Productions is looking for an energetic, reliable, and experienced team member to join our growing wedding and event production company for the upcoming busy season.

We are an award-winning entertainment company specializing in weddings, festivals, corporate events, school dances, and private celebrations throughout Northern California. This position is ideal for someone who already has experience with DJing, live sound, event production, or hospitality and wants to grow with a professional, high-energy team.

Position Overview

This role is a hybrid position that may include:

• DJ assisting
• Event setup & breakdown
• Sound and lighting support
• Photo booth operations
• MC assistance
• Guest interaction & customer service
• Basic troubleshooting of audio/lighting equipment

We are looking for someone who is dependable, adaptable, positive under pressure, and comfortable working weddings and live events.

Responsibilities Event Production & DJ Support

• Assist with setup and breakdown of DJ, lighting, and photo booth equipment
• Load and unload gear safely and efficiently
• Support DJs during weddings and events
• Help monitor sound levels and troubleshoot technical issues
• Assist with wireless microphones, speakers, lighting, and event transitions
• Maintain organization of equipment and event supplies

Photo Booth Operations

• Set up and operate social photo booth systems
• Engage guests and create a fun, welcoming atmosphere
• Assist guests with photos, prints, and digital sharing features
• Troubleshoot minor technical issues when needed
• Keep props and booth area organized and running smoothly

Guest & Client Experience

• Provide professional and friendly customer service
• Represent the DJ RunDat Productions brand positively
• Communicate clearly with clients, venues, planners, and team members
• Help create a stress-free, high-energy event experience

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with DJs, coordinators, and event staff
• Adapt quickly during live events and timeline changes
• Maintain professionalism and reliability at all times

Qualifications

We are especially interested in candidates who have experience in:

• DJing
• Sound engineering or live audio
• Event production
• Weddings or hospitality
• Lighting or AV setup

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Valid California Driver’s License
• Auto insurance
• Ability to lift and transport event equipment
• Weekend and evening availability
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Professional appearance and attitude
• References required

Bonus Skills

• Experience with Serato, Pioneer DJ equipment, or live sound
• MC or microphone experience
• Lighting setup knowledge
• Wedding or festival experience
• Photo booth experience
• Content creation or social media skills

Job Types: Part-time, Internship

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
