What are the responsibilities and job description for the Events Worship Team Member position at Bethel Church of Redding?
Lend strength to Bethel Church of Redding to see the expansion of God’s kingdom by leading the church in worship in the form of music. Events Worship Team Members perform music and lead worship for church conferences, workshops, and events, using either their select instrument or their vocal abilities to perform.
Hours: 0 hours scheduled regularly; hours scheduled around conference worship needs
Job Requirements
- Connect people to God and the church through praise and worship.
- Lead the congregation in worship and create an atmosphere conducive to personal growth.
- Perform praise and worship music either by instrument or by voice.
- Learn and rehearse planned praise and worship songs and musical arrangements.
- Communicate and cooperate with other members of the worship ministry as needed.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current member of Bethel Church’s local worship team
- Believes and adheres to the beliefs and vision of Bethel Church
- Minimum two years band or worship team experience or participation in BSSM worship teams
- Ability to play to a click track/metronome
- Knowledge of and ability to use and read the Nashville Number System
