We have been hired by our client, a global leader in their market, to find a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Planner to join the Operations team near Kent, OH. This position is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities to ensure efficient material flow and on-time order fulfillment. The Supply Chain Planner serves as the central liaison among Operations, Purchasing, Engineering, and Order Administration to execute the production plan and meet delivery objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed production schedules aligned with sales forecasts and operational requirements.
- Monitor capacity, identify bottlenecks, and communicate resource needs to Production Management.
- Maintain accurate MRP data, release information, and work orders within the ERP/MRP system.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, and Order Administration to manage materials, address shortages, and support design changes.
- Track production progress, adjust schedules to meet delivery goals, and report delays or issues.
- Contribute to production meetings and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or related operations roles
- Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
- Proficiency in demand forecasting, capacity planning, material requirements planning, and inventory management
- Certifications such as APICS CPIM or CSCP a plus
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
