Plant Manager

Dizario Search is conducting a search for a Plant Manager located near Brookfield, WI. This opportunity is with a well-established plastics manufacturer serving a range of regulated industries. The Plant Manager will oversee all aspects of operations, profitability, and performance, ensuring the facility runs safely, efficiently, and aligned with customer expectations.

Plant Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations with full P&L ownership
• Partner closely with Quality, Sales, Corporate Engineering, and Planning to meet delivery, quality, and growth objectives
• Ensure proper resource allocation, staffing levels, and performance across all departments
• Drive inventory accuracy, efficient material use, and waste reduction initiatives
• Evaluate equipment utilization, identify bottlenecks, and support capital project planning
• Support and champion ISO standards and strong safety/housekeeping programs
• Lead Continuous Improvement efforts, using Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and other CI tools to reduce waste and strengthen process capability
• Oversee training, performance management, coaching, and workforce development across production teams
• Collaborate with customers when needed to address needs, concerns, and production commitments
• Enforce operational policies and ensure effective use of MRP and other plant systems

Plant Manager Qualifications:

• 5–7 years of manufacturing management experience with P&L responsibility
• Plastic injection molding experience required
• Experience in a job-shop manufacturing environment; medical or food-grade exposure is ideal
• Strong technical aptitude; Engineering degree preferred
• Proven success implementing Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, or similar Continuous Improvement methodologies
• Hands-on, ownership-driven approach with strong analytical and decision-making abilities
