Controller – Manufacturing
We’re looking for an experienced Controller to lead the financial operations of our manufacturing facility in Gainesville, TX. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role will oversee all accounting functions and play a key role in strategic financial planning and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounting operations including A/R, A/P, payroll, and general ledger.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with company policies.
- Provide timely, accurate financial statements and performance analyses.
- Partner with plant and corporate leadership on cost and operational improvements.
- Supervise and develop accounting team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA a plus).
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Proven leadership of multiple accounting functions.
- Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
