Dixieland Forest Corp. is a locally established electrical contractor serving the Northshore area. We are seeking a reliable Administrative / Office Assistant to support record keeping, billing, customer accounts, scheduling, filing, and general office administration.

Schedule

Monday–Friday from 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Overtime available after 40 hours

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and route incoming phone calls
  • Coordinate schedules for service calls and project work
  • Assist with billing, invoicing, and customer accounts
  • Maintain job files, records, and office documentation
  • Create and organize job folders and paperwork
  • Communicate with customers regarding scheduling and job updates
  • Order office supplies and coordinate with vendors
  • Assist with permits, inspections, and project documentation
  • Track work orders and ensure paperwork is completed for each job
  • Provide general clerical and administrative support to the team

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets
  • Professional phone and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and team focused
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic office software preferred
  • Experience with QuickBooks or bookkeeping is helpful but not required
  • Experience in a construction or contractor office environment is preferred

Compensation

Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
