Our Client is expanding its cardiovascular imaging capabilities and is seeking a highly skilled Cardiology PACS Administrator to lead the support and optimization of its Philips cardiology PACS/CVIS platform. This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in enhancing clinical workflows and ensuring the reliability of mission-critical imaging systems within a nationally recognized pediatric health system.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary administrator for the Philips cardiology PACS/CVIS environment, ensuring optimal system performance and uptime
- Lead system configuration, upgrades, and vendor coordination, acting as the key liaison between cardiology, IT, and Philips
- Optimize cardiovascular imaging workflows, improving efficiency for clinicians and care teams
- Manage DICOM and HL7 integrations with the enterprise EHR and ancillary systems.
- Oversee image storage, archiving, and disaster recovery processes
- Provide Tier II/III troubleshooting and participate in on-call support as needed
- Develop documentation, standard operating procedures, and deliver end-user training
- 7 years of experience as a PACS Administrator, with cardiology imaging experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated hands-on expertise with Philips cardiology PACS/CVIS solutions
- Strong understanding of cardiovascular imaging workflows (e.g., echo, cath, nuclear cardiology)
- Proficiency with DICOM, HL7, and HIPAA compliance standards
- Experience with Windows Server environments, system integrations, and vendor management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- CIIP (Certified Imaging Informatics Professional) or Philips vendor certification
- Experience in a hospital or pediatric healthcare environment
- Familiarity with integration to enterprise EHR platforms (e.g., Epic)
