We are seeking qualified CASEWORKERS to begin onboarding this month!
Hours: 3:00pm- 11pm and weekends.
Pay: $23-$25 per hour
Location: Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania
I. JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the facilitation of therapy in a variety of specific identified needs including the development and implementation of an individualized treatment plan, documentation of therapeutic experience via report writing and communication with referral sources and other professionals, and to provide an atmosphere conducive to wellness.
II. JOB RELATIONSHIPS
- Responsible to: Clinical Coordinator, Regional Coordinators, Supervisor, and Mental Health Professionals.
- Interrelationships: Interacts on an ongoing basis with treatment team, referral sources, and other significant parties needed to enhance the clients’ rehabilitation experience.
III. RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES
- Assume primary care of youths assigned to caseload.
- Develop and implement a treatment plan that addresses the needs of the youth with input from the youth, family, referring agency, Mental Health Professionals, and Clinical Coordinator. All goals/objectives are to be realistic, obtainable, and measurable.
- Conduct individual counseling sessions with primary clients at least weekly and with all youth as needed.
- Develop and facilitate group therapy as designated by Clinical Coordinator, Supervisor, or Regional Coordinator
- Provide for the health, safety, security, and appropriate social interaction and social behavior of all youth in placement.
- Facilitate family sessions and maintain appropriate communication with significant parties.
- Maintain professional documentation duties, i.e. court reports, taskwork, discharge summaries, individual and family notes, log entries, incident reports, progress notes, treatment plans and TPRs.
- Demonstrate a standard of conduct that provides effective role modeling for client population and peer group.
- Present accurate clinical information to referral sources, family members, and in court at quarterly reviews or as requested.
- Plan and implement therapeutic, recreational, educational and seasonal events on and off-site.
- Facilitate appropriate discipline through therapeutic intervention as needed.
- Assume primary responsibility for making a decision to grant or withdraw a phase for primary residents.
- Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings.
- Improve level of competence through participation in ongoing supervision
- Attend on and off-site training seminars.
- Perform all other duties assigned by the Supervisor, Mental Health Professional, Managed Care Liaison, Clinical Coordinator, or Regional Coordinators.
- Complete medication administration training and administer medications as necessary.
- Maintain client files by regular filing and keeping documents current.
- Document and maintain client data via EMR.
IV. QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma w/ three years’ experience in childcare.
- Training and Experience: Sufficient previous counseling experience, preferably with adolescents.
- Job Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of DTAC modality of treatment, clinical philosophy, and awareness of the OCYF regulations related to juvenile rehabilitation.
You must be at least 21 years old. Ability to obtain Act 33 clearances, Criminal History and FBI Act 73 clearances. A valid driver's license is required. Ability to pass Safe Crisis Management is also required.
