About the Program
Our Danville and Lewisburg locations serve as specialized residential treatment facilities supporting adolescent males in recovery. Through evidence-based care and a highly structured environment, we provide the clinical and emotional support necessary for long-term success and wellness.
Position Summary
As a Registered Nurse (RN) at DTAC, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. You will provide direct nursing services, administer medications, monitor overall health, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders and individualized treatment plans
- Administer medications and monitor for effectiveness and potential side effects
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and respond to medical or psychiatric concerns
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all nursing care and patient interactions
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and clinical staff to support holistic treatment planning
- Educate residents on health, recovery, and wellness strategies
- Support daily programming within a structured residential environment
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation standards
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania (required)
- Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, residential care, or psychiatric nursing (preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and crisis intervention skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
