Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

  • Lead and facilitate RCA activities using structured methods (5-Why, Fishbone, fault tree, etc.)
  • Ensure root causes address process failure, not operator blame
  • Document RCA findings clearly and traceably

Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA)

  • Own the CAPA system from initiation through effectiveness verification
  • Define corrective and preventive actions with clear owners and due dates
  • Verify effectiveness through follow-up audits, data review, and shop-floor validation
  • Prevent recurrence through process changes, training, or design feedback

RGA / Field Failure Support

  • Manage or support RGA and field failure analysis
  • Coordinate teardown, inspection, and documentation of returned products
  • Translate field failures into actionable internal corrective actions

Documentation & Process Improvement

  • Create and revise quality procedures, work instructions, and inspection plans
  • Support internal audits and external audits as needed
  • Identify systemic improvement opportunities based on defect trends

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical field
  • 3–8 years of experience in a manufacturing quality role

  • Familiarity with ASME codes, ISO 9001, or similar quality systems
  • Experience supporting customer complaints or warranty / RGA processes
  • Lean or continuous improvement exposure
