General Warehouse Associate-

Pay Range: $19 - $21
DiVal Safety Equipment, a leader in the industrial safety, Fire, and EMS distribution business, is looking for a full time General Warehouse associate with a “whatever it takes” attitude. The main responsibilities of this position are to pick/pack orders and deliver to our customers in an accurate and efficient manner with safety being a priority.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Always focus on safety – safety training and direction must be always adhered to.
- Various Warehouse activity, including but not limited to - picking, packing, shipping orders, receiving inventory, and putting stock away.
- Load and deliver products as needed utilizing a company van.
- Prepare and submit all necessary daily paperwork in a timely manner as required.
- Complete cleaning and maintenance duties as directed.
- Report any existing or potential safety concerns to management.
- Reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisors in alignment with other members of the management team.
- Perform additional duties that may arise and assigned by management.
Skills and Requirements:
- Ability to pass a drug screen and physical.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Detail oriented and self-motivated.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
- Experienced with warehouse equipment including forklifts, electric pallet trucks, elevated work platforms, and manual pallet jacks. (Preferred)
- Experience with handheld equipment, like RF scanners, palm devices, and/or tablets. (Preferred)
- Basic computer skills a must, AS400 experience a plus.
- High school diploma / GED equivalent.
