Client Accounting Services Manager

A CAS role with a firm that has grown consistently without private equity backing, without constant restructuring, and without losing the community feel that smaller firms are known for.

This mid-sized CPA firm works with privately held businesses across manufacturing, retail, real estate, professional services, and nonprofit clients. Their client base sits largely within the middle market space, giving the team exposure to more interesting and varied work than many larger firms.

Their CAS team is looking to hire a QBO Specialist who can genuinely own the QuickBooks side of client relationships. This is not an entry level bookkeeping role. They need someone who can troubleshoot, support, improve processes, and act as a trusted resource for both clients and internal teams.

The role is split roughly 50/50 between QuickBooks support and hands on CAS work.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting clients with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop issues
• Working directly within outsourced accounting engagements
• Troubleshooting workflows, integrations, and reporting problems
• Supporting payroll inside QBO environment
• Working with third party applications and integrations
• Assisting with job costing and client accounting processes
• Supporting multiple clients across different industries
• Traveling to client locations and office locations as needed

What they’re looking for:

• 6 years of QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online experience
• Expert level QBO knowledge
• Experience using payroll within QBO
• Job costing experience preferred
• Foreign currency experience preferred
• QBD and QBO certifications preferred
• Experience with QuickBooks Pro Advanced preferred
• CPA or advanced degree required for Manager level candidates
• Must have daily access to a vehicle for travel between clients and offices
