What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audit Manager position at Distinct | North America?
Audit Manager
Melville, NY
There’s a strange idea in public accounting that career progression and having a life are natural enemies.
They don’t have to be.
This mid sized firm has 90 people, 3 offices and plenty of growth ahead of it. Which is useful, because growing firms tend to create opportunities rather than make you wait for someone to retire.
They’re looking for Audit Seniors and Audit Managers in New Jersey and Long Island.
You’ll get exposure to everything from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies, so there’s enough variety to keep your brain switched on.
More importantly, you’ll actually know your clients.
You’ll build relationships, become someone they trust and have a voice internally too. Good work gets noticed here. You’re unlikely to disappear into a sea of 700 identical headshots on the company website.
There’s proper progression, interesting work and a strong work life balance.
Turns out you can build a good career without making dinner reservations for 10pm.
Here’s the part most people get wrong: you don’t need to tick every box to introduce yourself. The apply button is not legally binding. Worst case? We chat, decide the timing isn’t right, and you carry on. Best case? You bag yourself a fantastic new position.
Prefer the human touch? Splendid. Ring me up. I’m at 646-540-9666. Sometimes Indeed hides my number. If they’re sneaky like that, you'll find my details on LinkedIn. I’m Georgina Ross at Distinct North America. Also, I get it can be hard to talk with the fear of your Managing Partner walking past your office. I’m around early (6am EST) and after-hours too.
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
