What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Sales Executive position at DiStefano Brothers Companies™?
About Distefano Brothers Construction
We're a $30M custom construction firm with 20 years of building across Rhode Island. Most of our work is high-end design-build remodeling from full-home renovations, kitchens, additions, and custom projects to bid work, architect-led projects, and select commercial work. Our core projects run from the low six figures into the seven figures.
We're expanding our sales team and hiring the kind of sales pro who builds their own book, sells service and craftsmanship over price, and stays with clients long after the last check clears.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a construction expert who is genuinely comfortable with the technical side of what we sell. We need someone who can own the client relationship from the first handshake, through construction, and into the long-term referral relationship that follows.
As the face of the company for the life of the project, this role is heavy on business development. You will actively hunt for great projects by building architect relationships, reconnecting with past clients, and leveraging your networking and referral sources.
You are a trusted advisor, someone who helps clients make the right decision, even when that decision is not to hire us. You are also a team player who focuses on setting our design and production teams up to succeed.
What You'll Do
Who We're Looking For
We measure on close rate, estimate accuracy, client satisfaction and referrals, self-generated pipeline, and quality of handoffs. We'd rather lose a deal than sell one that shouldn't be built.
