What are the responsibilities and job description for the Print Production Specialist position at Displayit?
The Print Production Specialist will add value to Displayit by maximizing the quality, efficiency, and fulfillment in our Printing Department.
Responsibilities
- Fabric, Plexi, PVC
- Operate, clean, and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Check production output according to specifications
- track errors, performance, and progress
- Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
- Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
- Visually and manually check for defects in product and workmanship Provide quality assurance for all jobs by reviewing proofs and final products
- Collaborate and communicate with internal team Members (CSR, Preflight, Design and Production) to make sure all jobs meet our customer’s expectations (quality, accuracy, timeline)
- Partner with Production and Print Manager to troubleshoot any issues, concerns, or problems
- And other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications
- Kongsberg and Futoba CNC operator knowledge a plus
- Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
- Caldera Rip knowledge a plus
- Organizational and leadership abilities
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Problem-solving skills
- High School Diploma
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time throughout the workday
Salary : $19 - $22
